If you or someone you care about is affected by cavernoma in Ireland, we invite you to become a member of Cavernoma Ireland.
Membership is free and is open to adults living in Ireland who are affected by cavernoma, as well as adult family members, carers and supporters.
Being a member means staying connected with Cavernoma Ireland and the wider cavernoma community. You’ll receive updates, information and invitations to our events and activities, and have opportunities to get involved and help shape the future of Cavernoma Ireland.
Our members also help us understand and demonstrate the community we represent across Ireland. This supports our work to raise awareness, develop our services and activities, and strengthen our applications for funding so that we can continue to support people affected by cavernoma.
Who can become a member?
Membership is open to adults living in Ireland who are:

Living with or have previously had a cavernoma.

Currently undergoing assessment for cavernoma.

An adult family member, carer or supporter of someone affected by cavernoma.

An adult volunteer with an organisation that supports people affected by cavernoma.

An adult employed by an organisation that supports people affected by cavernoma.

An adult proxy acting on behalf of someone affected by cavernoma.

Membership is free.
As a member you can:

Connect with others through our private Facebook and WhatsApp groups, available exclusively to Cavernoma Ireland members.

Stay informed with Cavernoma Ireland news, information and resources sent by email.

Join Coffee & Catch-Up – our monthly online get-together for adults in the cavernoma community. Members receive the Zoom link directly by email.

Hear about events first, with invitations and registration details shared with members before public advertising, where applicable.

Receive future newsletters as they are developed.

Get involved in awareness campaigns, educational activities and other opportunities.

Have your voice heard – members have voting rights at AGMs and EGMs and opportunities to help shape the future of Cavernoma Ireland.

Support available through Cavernoma Ireland
You don't have to be a member to contact us or access our support. Cavernoma Ireland provides free information and support for adults affected by cavernoma, as well as adult family members, carers and supporters.
This includes information and resources, help with healthcare conversations, guidance at every stage, our monthly Coffee & Catch-Up, and opportunities to attend educational and social events.
